2025 Board Election
The SCIP Board of Directors presents the following officers for election by the Members. Each officer’s term begins July 1, 2024 and extends for two years (except as otherwise indicated). Your ballot will be sent to you via email. Active Members as of June 30, 2023, are eligible to vote for President-Elect, Vice President, and Secretary. Affiliate Members as of June 30, 2023, are eligible to vote for Affiliate Director. (no affiliate director position is open for vote this year)
Polls will close on
Friday, June 28, 2024, at midnight Pacific Time.
President-Elect, July 2024 to June 2026:
Ron Geren, FCSI Lifetime Member, AIA, CCS, CCCA, CDT, CSC, SCIP
Ronald L. Geren Ron is currently SCIP’s Membership Chair. He is a former CSI Board of Directors chair and currently serves as the CSI Foundation Board of Trustees chair. He is the owner of RLGA Technical Services, a specifications and building code consulting firm in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is a professor of architecture at The School of Architecture, Founded by Frank Lloyd Wright, where he teaches building codes. Ron is the author of Applying the Building Code: Step-by-Step Guidance for Design and Building Professionals and has coauthored CSI’s Project Delivery Practice Guide and Construction Specifications Practice Guide. He is a past chair of the AIA MasterSpec Architectural Review Committee and has served on the AIA Codes and Standards Committee.
Secretary, July 2024 to June 2026:
Jill Goedken, AIA, CSI, CDT, CCS, SCIP
Jill is currently serving as Vice President of SCIP. She has over twenty-five years’ experience as a practicing architect, project manager and firm leader, and founded SPECcetera LLC in 2016. She has served as Secretary of the CSI North Central Region and on the board of Central Iowa Chapter of CSI.
Vice President, July 2024 to June 2025:
Lisa Murray, CSI, CCS, LEED AP, SCIP
Lisa Murray is currently serving as Secretary, and is running to complete the one-year remainder of Jill Goedken’s term. She is currently serving as the Communications Committee Chair and has recently accomplished the monumental task of moving SCIP’s website and membership tools to our new platform. She is active in the CSI Houston Chapter and has previously served as a board member.
Vice President, July 2024 to June 2026:
Amy Baker, AIA, LEED AP, CSI, CDT, SCIP
Amy is currently serving as Vice President of SCIP in a two-year term that ends this June, and she has led the Programs team this year. She also serves on the Programs Committee on the BEC Board of Directors, where she identifies and coordinates nationally recognized speakers and presentation topics for monthly programs and annual events. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Building Enclosure Council of Greater Detroit, the Detroit chapter CSI, and the Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA). She is also on RIB SpecLink’s Product Innovation Advisory Board, where she contributes new ideas for improving the tools and functionality of the program.
