Code Research - Making AI Useful and Accurate

This session will cover where AI is actually useful in specifications work — and where it isn’t. We’ll walk through how to check AI answers for accuracy, how to deal with local amendments, and how to catch code issues earlier to reduce plan-check comments. We’ll review results from an independently validated accuracy study and share real project examples of how firms are using AI today. We’ll end with a short demo of how the UpCodes platform handles code and product research. Attendees will leave with practical guidelines they can use immediately, backed by actual data and real-world examples.
