After years spent working in firestop materials and as a firestop contractor, Wayne founded VeriCon, an independent inspection, consulting and training firm in 2010. He has conducted firestop inspection and QA/QC on more than 400 projects that total over $19 billion of new construction and 18 million square feet of existing construction. He is an NFPA Certified Fire Protection Specialist, has authored three books on firestop quality control and inspection, and trained over 10,000 building officials, architects, contractors and facilities personnel in the US and the Caribbean.
